This bungalow from our Urban Collection has several windows. Large overhangs were built to keep the sun from overheating the house during the summer. After watching the sun’s angle in the sky it was determined that the overhangs could block the sun’s rays when they are at their warmest (between noon and 2:00 p.m.). However, when winter arrives, the sun can still warm up the rooms since it’s lower in the sky. That’s what called passive heating!
