The original plan of this wonderful cottage located in Gore, in the Laurentians, was modified to add an extra bedroom. In order to do this, it was necessary to add six feet to the width and length of the surface, extend the cathedral ceiling by three feet and move the bathroom and the staircase leading to the basement. Additionally, a mezzanine was added above the open area that includes the living room, the dining room and the kitchen. A prefab fireplace with a triangular chimney adds comfort to the home during the long winter months. In the summer, the owners enjoy a huge wooden terrace built on the right of the cottage and accessible through a patio door located in the living room.
