Our sets of plans include all the information required to build your house as seen on the illustration.
Each set contains four main elements: the exterior elevations, the foundations plan, the floor plans and cross-sectional drawings. You can also purchase a list of materials to be used or a set of reverse plans.

Please note that plan designers do not all offer the same options. 

This type of plan is used mostly to estimate and get approval of a real estate construction project; it is insufficient to proceed with the construction of the building.

Each complete and fully detailed set of plans printed on bond or blueprint paper includes all the documents referred to in the “What’s Included” section.

The complete content is reversed, including the text and dimensions.

The kit includes:

  • 5 paper copies of the original plan, regular size
  • 1 paper copy of the original plan, 11 X 17
  • The list of materials

PLAN PDF FORMAT – (Large size18 in x 24 in or 24 in x 36 in)
Equivalent to a paper plan, the plan in PDF format is available in large sizes, 18 in x 24 in or 24 in x 36 in, and is sent by email. The purchase of one set of plans in PDF format gives you the right to build one house. In accordance with the law, the authenticity of the document is ensured by a digital seal and the digital signature of the architectural technologist that are put on electronic documents (Notarius). It is strictly forbidden to modify the plan or to use it for advertising purposes without the written authorization of Planimage. Purchasing software is not necessary to look at the plan in its PDF format (Acrobat Reader is available free of charge). Please make sure that your municipality accepts plans with digital seals.

PLAN PDF FORMAT – (Tabloid size 11 in x 17 in)
The plan in PDF format is also available in a smaller size, 11 in x 17 in, and is also sent by email. You can forward this electronic version of your plan to your financial institution as well as to the various people associated with your project, which will save you time and money. Please note that this type of electronic plan has no professional seal and may not be accepted by some municipal authorities.

A unique, complete and reproducible set of plans printed on plotter paper. This type of plan may be used to make modifications and to produce your own copies. It includes all the documents referred to in the “What’s Included” section. 

Planimage and the plan designer cannot be held liable for changes made to an original plan by a third party. Furthermore, the purchase of a reproducible plan set does not constitute in itself a license to build more than one house. CAD FILE (Computer-aided drafting)
This complete digital set of plans on CD contains all the documents referred to in the “What’s Included” section. Planimage cannot be held liable for changes made to an original plan by a third party. To accelerate delivery, a plan’s digital file can be sent via e-mail. However, the plan on CD can also be sent by courier, with entails extra shipping charges. 

The content of such a list can vary from one designer to another but each list includes the types and quantities of materials generally required to build the selected house model. It usually includes materials required for plumbing, windows, roofing, finishing and covering, hardware and other elements that are part of the building process.

Our various designers offer four different types of foundations:

  • Foundations with basement;
  • Foundations with crawlspace;
  • Concrete foundations;
  • Pile foundations.
