• Planning set

Includes the four elevations with reference to the exterior finish materials used and the floor plans. Although stamped "NOT TO BE USED FOR CONSTRUCTION", the planning set allows a better appreciation of the selected house model without having to purchase immediately the full construction drawings.
It is a summary plan of the house model “as illustrated” and can be credited towards the purchase of 4 sets of plans (minimum) of the same number, within 30 days.

• Single set

Used mostly to get bids and occasionally to secure a building approval, this complete single set of plans is insufficient for proceeding with the construction of the house.

• Construction sets (4, 5 & 8)

Fully detailed complete sets of plans printed on bond or blueprint paper. Construction sets will include all the documents indicated in the section WHAT’S IN A PLAN.

     · Mirrored reverse plans
      The complete content is reversed, including the text.

     · Right-reading reverse
      Although the content is reversed, the text is displayed in the right direction for easy reading.

• Reproducible set

Single complete set of plans printed on reproducible plotter paper. This format may be used for having alterations made to the plan and to produce your own copies. It will include all the documents indicated in the section WHAT’S IN A PLAN.

Planimage and the designer concerned will not be held liable for any changes made to the original plans by other persons. Furthermore, the acquisition of a reproducible set does not constitute a license to built more than one house. • CAD file

One complete set of plans in digital on CD format. The file will contain all the documents indicated in the section WHAT’S IN A PLAN. Planimage will not be held liable for any changes made to the original plans by other persons.

Nota
Should time be of the essence, the digital file can be sent via e-mail. Nevertheless, CD format can also be sent, with extra shipping.

• List of materials

The content can vary from one designer to another but the list will cover the types and quantities of materials generally required to build the selected house model. It can include details on lumber, windows, roofing, finish and covering, hardware and others.

• Foundations

Up to four different types of house foundations can be proposed by the designers:
     · basement foundations;
     · crawlspace foundations;
     · slab foundations;
     · pier foundations.
