If you already purchased one of our house plans but wish to have it modified, start with consulting our Plan Modification section which will indicate you the next steps. Be aware that some minor modifications shall simply be notified to your municipality or builder, who may apply them with no increase in your building costs. Contact us to verify!
Yes, absolutely. We suggest that you call, and explain directly to, one of our technologists the modifications you would make. Emailing or faxing a sketch of such modifications shall certainly help in understanding your needs, thus allowing the technologist to precisely guide you through.
You can also make an appointment with an expert in a nearby Planimage branch office (check our List of branch offices). Once you agree to our technologist's suggestions, he will let you know about costs as well as delivery and production times. The cost of a plan modification is calculated according to the current hour rate added to the basic price of the plan.

What does the list of building materials describe?
The basic price of a set of plans includes the elevations, the foundations and upper floors' plans, cross-sectional sketches of roof trusses, and a detailed estimate of the building materials.
With additional costs, you can have an inverted plan, a metric version, a list of the building materials (see an example of the list of the building materials).
All outdoor project plans include a list of the building materials (quantities and description of the materials).
Your RONA retailer which you purchased your plan from, can provide you with a list of building materials.
The lists of building materials we provide are exhaustive: materials for the framework (2x4, 2x6, joists and beams, plywood, etc.), insulation, interior and exterior finishing (drywall, mouldings, brick, clapboard, shingles, etc.), concrete, nails and screws, hardware, electricity and plumbing accessories, interior and exterior doors, windows. Only quantities are indicated and not the retailers' sales prices. Our list of building materials includes neither electrical wiring nor piping.
Building costs
What does the building cost shown on the description of the house plans correspond to? Would it be possible to have a more accurate cost?
The ranges of building costs that are displayed on our Web site are equivalent to the prices offered by a general contractor (in the South Shore of Montréal) as regards turnkey building projects.
While the site and infrastructures' expenses are not included, costs surrounding the construction process encompass materials, foundations, electricity and plumbing, doors and windows, cupboards, interior finishing, workforce; all is of standard quality for a model house made by a contractor.
Are not included artesian wells, purification circuits, grading, electrical connections to the municipality's electricity pole.
The evaluation of our models is made according to a square feet value including the "specials" shown on the plan, such as a fireplace, an exterior siding made from brick, an individual shower, etc.
All modification to the initial plan should be considered. Be aware that a 5 to 10% difference in price ranges may be applied according to the season and the region where building takes place. Taxes are not included. If you want to have an approximate price for a house, please ask one of our specialists for it.

Below each product available on planimage.com, you will find a "Add to cart" button. By clicking on it, you will add the chosen item to your cart. Once you have added all the items of your choice to your cart, you simply order by clicking on the "Order" button and filling all the required fields regarding the shipping details. Then, just click on the "Confirm" button. It is very important that you verify the information regarding the order and delivery address that you entered, as it will enable us to properly ship your order. Finally, click on the "Purchase" button. You will be redirected to the Caisse Desjardins payment server, for maximum security when entering your credit card number. Your order will thus be treated with total confidentiality. It is very important to follow every ordering step as explained, so that all the information required is duly transferred to our shipping services.

To place an order by mail, just follow every on-line ordering step. After filling the order form, you shall know the exact amount (including taxes and shipping fees) that you are expected to pay either by money order sent to us. Obviously, provide us with details on the items you order and your address, as these information will not be saved on the Internet. Helpfully leave us your email address as well as phone number, too.

For a matter of security, we do not allow to go back and forth when paying with a credit card.
