- How to become a partner of Planimage ?
To become a partner of planimage, you have to follow the steps explained in detail below.
1 – First, you must obtain a Designer application form. To get the application form, just send an e-mail to partner@planimage.com requesting the application form, or call 1 800 752-6744. Planimage will then send you the appropriate documents.
2 – Second, fill in the required sections of the form and send it back to Planimage with a specimen of one of your production plans (technical plan) so we can examine and study it. Planimage will afterwards decide, within a reasonable period of time of about 15 days, to accept or reject your demand. Should your demand be refused, an e-mail will be sent to you explaining the reasons of this refusal. Sending an incomplete application will delay the onlining process of your plans.
3 – If your demand is accepted, Planimage will then send you a copy of the contract of partnership between you and planimage, an Excel document enabling us to gather information about your plans, and a list of materials required. The list includes the following elements:
a) a rendering saved as a JPEG document for the Web, 450 px by 255 px (see an example);
b) a two-dimensional (2D) rendering of the floor for each level of the house, saved as a GIF document for the Web, 450 px by a size of your choice px (see an example);
c) your shipping charges applied for local and international shipping of 1, 4 or 8 sets of plans, by express delivery and by economy rate delivery.
You can also send us, but it is not compulsory, the following documents:
a) a rendering saved as a JPEG for the Web, 160 px by 90 px (see an example);
b) a three-dimensional (3D) rendering of the floor, saved as a JPEG, 450 px by a size of your choice (see an example);
c) a virtual walkthrough saved as QuickTime format, 320 px by 240 px (see an example).
Once you will have read and signed the contract, filled in the Excel document and gathered all the necessary documents, burn them on a CD and send it to planimage.
4 – Planimage will let you know when your parcel is received. Allow a reasonable period of time, according to the number of plans sent, before your plans can be added to Planimage.com. Planimage ensures that the treatment required to put the plans on line will be completed as quickly as possible. 5 – Finally, Planimage will send you a user name and a password so you can open a session on planimage.com, as a partner. You will then be able to manage your plans, that is modify or delete them, your e-mails, by answering questions of internet users, and treat all of your orders.
