How to become a Planorth partner

To become a Planorth partner, you must first follow the initial steps that follow.

1 – To start with, you must obtain a Designer application form. To receive the application form, just send an e-mail to contact@planorth.com requesting the application form, or call 1 800 752-6744 and Planorth will gladly send it to you.

2 – Second, fill in the required sections of the form and return it to Planorth along with a specimen of one of your production plans (technical plan) so we can evaluate it. Planorth will advise you within approximately 15 days if your request is accepted or denied. Should your request be denied, you will receive an e-mail explaining the reasons of the refusal. Please note that incomplete applications will only delay the approval process of your plans.

3 – If your request is accepted, Planorth will then send you:

• a copy of the partnership contract outlining the terms of the agreement between you and Planorth,
• an Excel document to be filled out so that we can gather information about your plans,
• and a list of documents required.

The documents include:
a) a JPEG rendering for the Web, 450 px by 255 px (see an example);
b) a GIF two-dimensional (2D) rendering of the floor for each level of the house for the Web, 450 px by the size of your choice px (see an example);
c) your shipping charges applicable to local and international shipments of 1, 4 or 8 sets of plans, by express delivery and regular low rate delivery.

You may also supply the following documents:
a) a JPEG rendering for the Web, 160 px by 90 px (see an example);
b) a JPEG three-dimensional (3D) rendering of the floor, 450 px by the size of your choice (see an example);
c) a virtual walkthrough of your house saved in QuickTime format, 320 px by 240 px (see an example).
Once you have read and signed the contract, filled out the Excel document and gathered all the necessary documents, please save them on a CD and send it to Planorth.

4 – Planorth will let you know when your parcel is received. The amount of time required to upload your plans online on Planorth.com will depend on the number of plans sent. 5 – Finally, Planorth will send you a user name and a password so you can open a session on planimage.com, as a partner. You will then be able to:

• Manage your plans, that is modify or delete them;
• Manage your e-mails and answer questions from potential buyers;
• Process your orders, see your order history and your sales data.
